Philosophy struggles with how my thought engages with your word. We are proposing that the concept is part of a "token grammar" that traverses the boundary between the internal and the external. The conceptualization boundary is a **Phase Transition** to new intersubjective world of ostension, metaphor, and transcendence.
Seen in light of the internalism/externalism debate, the notion is purely internal, restricted to the perceiving subject (the IPSEITY). The concept is external in that it presupposes a foundation of IPSEITY, WORLD, SOCIETY, and LANGUAGE.
Here we encounter the anagogical movement from the solipsistic world of percept and notion to the intersubjective world of the concept.
