Definition
A linguistically articulated and intersubjectively shareable form of a notion. Concepts emerge through the process of conceptualization, whereby sentient, social creatures introduce shareable, syntactical and grammatical token structures. Concepts are semantically rich complexes that are embedded in language and therefore participate in discursive public norms of meaning, reference, and justification while also having an idiosyncratic interpretation for each language participant.
A concept is like Frege's Sinn, or Gedanken. It is intersubjective. Multipley realized meaning for a token. The token grammar fixes the concept in intersubjective space.
