Firstly, Platonism applied to mathematics is a weasel-word. A shifty, unhelpful label. It is a label for a psychological, methodological, pragmatic approach taken by most mathematicians. Truth are in some sense "out there" to be discovered. Or slightly stronger, that mathematical truths are "mind-independent". But here we run into the MDNMIW paradox.
The notion of mind-indepence is a notion IN the minds of mathematicians. And here we begin to understand the theistic turn taken by Gödel. That part of the mind that can conceive the mind-independence of mathematics (and of reality) is a meta-mind, an open door to the supra-mental mind of God.
Again, we land on the abstract notion of generalized ipseity, before the
Lord's Leap. Before the Leap of Faith.
